Today’s Daily Programme is here ….
It’s going to be a very quiet day today, I’ve seen 66% of the insights lectures on my last cruise, so there wasn’t a lot of appeal in seeing them again. I do have a TV series on a USB stick that Jane hasn’t seen, so after breakfast we watched the first episode back in the room before heading down to the Grills Lounge to get a couple of takeaway cappuccinos. We walked around the Promenade deck for a short while but showers kept blowing in cutting that short. We headed back up to the stateroom for episode 2 before lunch.
After lunch it was more of the same, bit of a walk around the deck, watched another episode of The Penguin and headed down to the Carinthia Lounge to meet up with Pam and Max for little light quizzing another 15/20 day and nowhere near the winning score.
Tonight was the last of our Gala nights, Masquerade this time and as Jane had another Spa voucher she’d decided to get her hair done. With the voucher it was a rather nice US$30 for it rather than the usual eye watering $80 (I say this as a bloke that never pays more than a tenner for a haircut).

She arrived back looking lovely, and her dress tonight was the “reserve” dress for the wedding. A very spangly gold affair which would have been ideal for the Red and Gold Gala evening, but these seem to have been discontinued. We were eating off the A La Carte menu tonight, with the Beef Wellington as a main. Jane also had the scallops as a starter while I had the Michel Roux creation, Lamb Raviolo both were delicious. We finally managed to get organised as a table to have a group photo, we spend far, far too much time chatting and laughing. It has been a really great table on this cruise.

We finally made it to a show in the Royal Court Theatre – Let’s Dance, is a fairly new one, previewed on Queen Anne I believe, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Addendum: 28 February, our 2nd Trivia win, astonishing but true!
