Your post reminded me of a Jamaican staff member running a pop-up bar trolley on a high deck, off the SE Spanish coast.
“Have you ever seen snow?”, I asked him.
“No”, he replied.
“Tum around”, I said.
“Wow!” was all he could say.

Was also views of the Sierra Nevada mountains to the left, on the Spanish coast, which was a nice view.

I would have liked to see the earlier sailing through the straits of Gibraltar, but was too early for me (and dark).

Ditto on the night time way back out the next week (although looked like I could see lights on the North African shoreline?)

Sail away from Lisbon and going under the bridge was great also.
In fact sail away from all the ports was nice especially like Cartegina and Malaga with lit up areas and the surrounding hills.
